The Human Condition!

These are bits of what Jeremy Griffith (http://www.worldtransformation.com) has to say, and that I think to be quite true. I have listened to his introductory videos 1-7 and am very interested in what he is saying. I think he has some very very valid points that would be a "very soulful experience" for anyone "to feel", let alone - think about, especially our human condition of denial. I don't think we ever came from apes or anything like that... I think Adam and Eve right from the start were in the same physical form to how we are today, except they had an innocence we do not posses now and which they lost when they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The bible story of Adam and Eve and all of the other accounts of people in the bible are all true fact to me - fact and not myth! Here is some of what Jeremy has to say: "Our world is constructed from 94 elements—hydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium, boron, etc. These elements came together to form stable arrangements. For example, two hydrogen atoms with their single positive charges came together with one oxygen atom with its double negative charge to form the stable relationship known as water. In time larger molecules and compounds developed. Eventually macro compounds formed. These eventually integrated to form virus-like organisms, which in turn came together orintegrated to form single-celled organisms, which in turn integrated to form multicellular organisms, which in turn integrated to form societies of single species, which in turn integrate to form stable, ordered arrangements of different species. So what is happening everywhere we look is that order is developing; larger in space and more stable in time arrangements of matter are forming. It is as plain as day that that is what is happening out there in our world. Everything is a hierarchy of ordered matter and everywhere matter is integrating—and yet we have denied this truth... If the parts of a whole didn’t cooperate, if they behaved selfishly, then the whole would disintegrate—the parts would break down into the elementary building blocks of matter from which they were assembled. Put simply, selfishness is divisive or disintegrative while selflessness is integrative. Selflessness is actually the theme of existence because it is the glue that holds wholes together; indeed, it is the real meaning of the word ‘love’. The old Christian word for love is ‘caritas’, meaning charity or giving or selflessness (see Col. 3:14, 1 Cor. 13:1–13, 10:24 & John 15:13). ‘Love’ is cooperative selflessness, in fact not just selflessness but unconditional selflessness, the capacity, if called upon, to make a full, self-sacrificing commitment to the maintenance of the larger whole. However, the problem with this truth is that it confronts us humans squarely with the issue of the human condition. If the meaning of existence is to be cooperative, loving and selfless, then why are we humans competitive, aggressive and selfish? If the theme of existence is to be integrative then why are we divisively behaved? Despite it being such an obvious truth, integrative meaning has been so condemning of the upset human race that we have had no choice but to live in deep denial of it. The simple fact is, for a larger whole to form and hold together the parts must cooperate not compete, they must be selfless not selfish. But since the competitive, aggressive and selfish divisive behaviour of upset humans is the polar opposite of cooperative, loving and selfless integrative behaviour, this truth of integrative meaning has been the most horrifically condemning of truths for upset humans. When I first started thinking about the human condition I tried to figure out what the theme or meaning of existence was and after some thought I realised that the theme of existence was this development of order of matter. Everyone knows the truth of integrative meaning but virtually everyone is spending every moment blocking that truth out from their mind because it is so unbearable... Although the truth of integrative meaning is extremely obvious, with evidence of the hierarchy of the order of matter everywhere we look, it was important for humanity that science found a way to deny such a seemingly totally condemning truth. ...to cope with the imbued recognition of integrative ideality and meaning in the religious concept of ‘God’, science simply left the concept of ‘God’ undefined, maintaining it was a strictly abstract, metaphysical and spiritual concept unrelated to the scientific domain—an inexplicable deity seated on a throne somewhere high above the clouds in a remote blue heaven who we can worship as someone superior to us but avoid any direct comparisons with ourselves. Religion and science were firmly demarcated as two entirely unrelated subjects. Despite this need to deny the development of order of matter on Earth, or integrative meaning, and acknowledge that that is what we mean by ‘God’, there have been a rare few scientists who have courageously recognised the truth of integrative meaning and acknowledged that - that is what God is. The integrative, cooperative, loving theme of existence is actually what ‘God’ is the personification of. We recognise this truth when we say ‘God is love’ (1 John 4:8,16). With the human condition explained and our divisive state understood, all humans can now safely admit and recognise that there has only been one God, one all-dominating truth, and that is integrative meaning. Integration and the selflessness or love that enables it to occur is the theme of existence, is ‘God’, is the all dominating and all-pervading universal truth about our world. ...we humans have become from defying our instinctive orientation to behaving cooperatively. We were in defiance of ‘God’! We have been at war with the ideals of life! When thinking of our human plight—of suffering from insecurity about our human condition of being competitive, aggressive and selfish when the ideals are to be cooperative, loving and selfless—it can be seen that the bonobos, with all their social harmony, gentleness, sensitivity, empathy, selflessness, exceptional maternal-ism and favoritism towards the more nurtured cooperative members, are extremely exposing and confronting for us. Having avoided the truth of integrative meaning and the importance of selflessness, it is not easy for us to appreciate that conscious thought depends on the ability to acknowledge the significance of selflessness. However, our own mental block or alienation is in fact the perfect illustration of and parallel for this block in the minds of animals. Unable to think truthfully/straight, we too have been unable to think effectively. Alienation has rendered us almost stupid, incapable of deep, penetrating, meaningful thought. Terminal levels of alienation are upon us. As was mentioned earlier, two of the soundest people in recorded history, Daniel and Christ, both warned of the extreme danger of pseudo idealism when they talked about the ‘abomination that causes desolation’ taking over the world, the ‘abomination’ that leads nowhere except to ‘desolation’. We humans had to do what we had to do—create a guilt-free environment in order to stay alive—nevertheless the situation that resulted took humanity extremely close to the perpetual darkness of terminal alienation. The danger for humanity’s journey to enlightenment came from the increased levels of delusion and denial that we humans were having to employ in order to cope. To be truly free we had to confront and understand our condition, not escape it by adding more and more layers of denial." - Jeremy Griffith (World Transformation Movement) World Transformation Movement I think Jeremy is a very good-hearted person and I have to commend him for his bravery to speak out where Scientists and religious groups are in denial of the truth of Our Human Condition. Scientists must be "able to see", when they do their research - that there is an undeniable form of order in nature that points to a Supreme being who created it all. Are these Scientists researching for facts or not - are they insane? Many religions have me totally exasperated by how they point to Jesus as our Savior and then on the other hand deny Satan's existence (are they saying Jesus is a liar?), and then they also say that Adam and Eve's account in the bible is just a story...to me it's like - have religious people lost their minds? They either believe what God has written in the bible or they don't. Maybe if like me they just admit - they find it hard to face their own guilt and the responsibility of being accountable to a higher being. It is very hard for most people to bow-down. We are so self-possessed with our own self-satisfaction rather than ourselves as "a whole body", to even want to co-operate with each other so we can exist in harmony like God wants to bring us to in the end of it all. I think about what it must have been like for Eve being tempted to eat from the tree, when tempted by the Serpent (Satan manifesting inside a serpent, probably some kind of snake), hearing his words and then thinking about what God had said not to eat it, and at the same time taking into consideration at that point she had no concept or knowing of what to know good and evil was...just intrigued to know. Seems like Adam just wanted to please Eve! So of course - I think - why the blazers did God put that dam tree there in the first place? Then on top of that,God has to ban them from the Garden of Eden in case they go and eat the tree of Life as well. That's just a normal enough question. So I can only in my mind come to the conclusion that God had a knowing Satan would do that, and how Adam and Eve would respond...so maybe it was part of his purpose for mankind - for them to "have a way out" to learn and at the same time granting them - "the right to choose". Maybe in this time period we are still going through our creation process God means for us to go through, "to bring us to a mature state". I think what God is doing with us - is taking us through some training that we need - to be free thinkers and come to our own conclusion in a natural process that "we can't run the ship without him as the captain and without co-operation and inter-dependence of each other". I guess he just doesn't want us to be robots. So what do you think? I think Jeremy is somewhat on the right track of things, but I am sure that God will take over when we have as "his creation" , realized our "true place" to submit to him as King - that we cannot rule ourselves and need him as much as he "has made us" - to need each other! Yes I too think, to be truly free we have to confront and understand our human condition, not escape it by adding more and more layers of denial!


Mankinds Denial

Yes like Jeremy Griffith - I too think, to be truly free we have to confront and understand our human condition, not escape it by adding more and more layers of denial! Well I have read Adam and Eve's account in the Garden of Eden and many questions arise; like where on earth is the Garden of Eden now?...is it all covered with water deep in the sea like the story of Atlantis. Goodness knows! God promises to make all the things that we don't understand right now, known to us in time and I wish I could remember where in the bible I read that, but I do remember reading that nevertheless. Well so in Genesis we read how Adam and Eve ate from the "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil" and so in their mind's eye became aware to good and bad alike. So as a species we are no longer rendered innocent - a long gone thing of the past. At the end of Revelation we are promised that mankind will have the right to eat from the Tree of Life - obviously those who have reached maturity - where he wants us as a species with a conscious mind to eventually "come to". From my thinking about it all -to me it seems that the reason of why Adam and Eve were banned from the garden, was their lack of maturity to be able to handle all that it (knowing good and evil) entailed for them...from the point of view if they they had also eaten from the tree of life!!! All through history of the bible accounts it seems God has been slowing mankind down in some form or a rather from having too much knowledge too quickly; for instance by a world-wide flood and also confusing them suddenly with different languages when they were building the tower of Babel. I appreciate what Jeremy Griffith is saying about where man is obviously heading if we keep going the way we are, and also if we think about it in too much depth, it could put us into "a deep depression within". Yes I think it is good to set about telling others we have to understand our human condition and get out there and start transforming man's minds to start co-operating with each other, in an effort to make things better. The problem is God says in Revelation that this terrible plight for mankind is going to happen and many men will feel faint from fear because they can see what is before them, and feeling there is no way out, but suicide. This is too hard for any man to want to face and yes, to horrifying to even contemplate, but unfortunately as we keep moving forward I think the feeling of being faint from fear is only going to increase each generation. Deep within us we seem to kind of know, but we just get on with it and get in as much enjoyment as we can find! This is why denial is a much better place but eventually for mankind, denial will not "be a get out of jail free" card as it is now. There will be no place for denial. My question is what makes sense for us to do? Are we the generation that needs to start preparing for this eventual coming disaster? What can we do? Be faint out of fear? God has given us a manual for survival but it still means to endure it and entrust ourselves to him. Possibles of Our Inner Dialogue: 1.For me denial could be comforting just deny God's existence and then I don't have to handle it... 2.But dam I can already see where we are heading... can't think about it is too much... 3. I can't deny it - there is something going on and it doesn't feel good somewhere and the environment is getting more and more negative to live in... 4. I understand there are going to be many a good-hearted persons like Jeremy who will come along and keep us busy, better than giving up I think?... 5. Got to admit I am very tempted to go completely into denial and not face it, until I really am forced to... 6. Still there is this - I love to feel love and God is that. Where there is love, there is no fear. I think I just solved the problem!!!!... 7. God is just a myth! But yes we do need to get off our buns now and save our earth and ourselves. ...And so the self-talk goes on and on - But which thought/s do you think you will eventually hold on to? Well for now I am thinking of what my position is concerning our human condition. There is so much involved to think about and it is so mind boggling...I am thinking about my own particular madness and denial too, that I have done to keep surviving...it's not just "the scientists" and "the religious" that have done it...we all have in our own way done our bit of "denial" to cope!!!!!


The Fibonacci sequence - using it to understand how it "just is" - in life!

My thoughts and conclusions I have come to: - after studying the very basics of the fibonacci sequence...To explain it simply... it is a sequence of numbers (0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34... and continues without end ) that are found in the "biological and physical formation" for growth in nature... I have always had a very analytic mind... and I am a person who likes to understand; and find out how and why things work the way they do; especially applying them back to every day life where I possibly can.

I am going to explain the fibonacci sequence more from more an analytical point of view (using it more in - reasoning and solving problems and applying it back to living life), rather than its' actual biological and physical presence seen in nature - for growth. What I am meaning is that I am using the "fibonacci sequence" as a means to understand our way towards our own higher-self in spiritual, mental and emotional growth.

One thing I have noticed is that - anyone who has invented anything, is that they had to study; and use the "laws of nature" one way or another, and yes it has always involved mathematics in some way or another too!...

So the fibonacci sequence is a sequence of numbers and this may seem a "strange thought"; that a study of some "mere sequence of numbers", could have the possibility of being able to have - some "value" in your life, but it certainly has given me a much deeper appreciation for the laws of nature. I have had, to some degree felt (like most of us), that the facts of the "laws of nature" along with the "consequences of choices" - are to be considered!...Sooner or later you do have to recognize them, and if you don't - you will certainly meet up with quite a bit of "resisstance" somewhere!

It is not so much the fibonacci sequence in itself, it is more the importance of the finding of their ratios... of how those numbers follow each other and move in nature. (I would class "nature" as meaning or substance of; physical and also including spiritual, mental and emotional.)


Ok here is the graph of those fibonacci numbers being plotted in their ratios:

If you look at how this graph is plotted: Notice how the line starts with going up steeply and then - takes an almost drastic dive down sort of 1/2 way, and then goes up a little again, and then finally stabilizes..."to Phi = ratio of 1.6" - termed as the "golden ratio" or the "perfect ratio" or put simply, the "desired" point.

To explain this I am going to use the example of how plants grow...ok... so you have the first line going up quite steeply...the plant is starting growth and doing just fine, then in its' growth flow- it slows down (this is where the line plunges down). - At this stage the plant is finding its way through obstacles of how it can keep itself going...finding its' way to get it's leaves etc. spaced correctly between the older leaves growing and making room for the newer leaves - to allow enough light, sun, water etc. - the old ones to keep sustained, and the chance for the newer ones to be able shoot up etc...ok, not that plants can think, but it's in their DNA or whatever, to naturally bend towards survival.

If you haven't got bored with this and still following me... you should be just about guessing where I might be heading to, with all this...

Ok, so lets get on with what I wanted to share with you in this study of mine on how the fibonacci sequence could change your view on life. If you understand and really appreciate this and believe this, which I hope you will... it will give you a confidence to press on through everything (to understand that it is, the way it is), and to never give up on anything - that you ever wished to gain out of life... to get to where you "desire to be" - called "point of Phi"!


So let's get back to the graph:

Ok... lets say you have decided you want to start a business...ok, its going smoothly... in you - "getting all set up"... you are doing just fine, suddenly everything starts going wrong; this problem arises, then another and another...what's happening? - It is just the natural plunge down that you see on the graph (where...like the plant - it is finding its' spacing of it's leaves etc. to have enough light, sun and water etc.)...its the same period you have to go through for your business to work and grow...those things are the things that will naturally come up, and show right now...you have to sort things out right now...you can't give up now...it's only the natural process you have to sort through - for your business to stabilise for growth to survive and flourish...this is a natural process, but it is also the place where us humans might give up, but this is where you don't...it is the "crucial moment of whether you succeed or fail" !!! Are you going to press on, and respect the fact of these issues, that they need to be thought through and solved for survival? ...After these issues have been sorted, then the business will stabilise to a desireable point (Phi)!!!!...The business will only be able to succeed after this crucial layout for growth - has been established!!!!

We could also apply this to a close relationship we have with someone that we so much want to work out, ...the same process has to happen...look at the graph again, and think!

If we "understand" and have this "respect and acceptance" for nature (and all said and done, aren't we all a part of nature too?); we will indeed be in-line "with the facts of life" to succeed!!! Flowing with those natural laws and the understanding of them - is what works! Inventors and designers all through history have proven that fact!!! So my debate is this: if the fibonacci sequence exists biologically in nature ... and even nature has to deal with "down-time" to tackle with what it has to -for survival; why shouldn't we have to? Just a simple fact of life - huh?

If you were to study human relationships and to really think about relationships - that do work - isn't it really because they wanted to find their point of "PHI" (desired stabilization) in their relationship... and fortunately for them, they understood that the "down - time period" (where "everything goes wrong" isn't a negative as much - as more a "sign" and "natural process" for survival), was "a-crucial" for their survival together?

Could it be that if we understood the pattern of fibonacci and other laws of nature better, and really "accepted them" as so, that indeed - we would put ourselves out there more, no matter what - being just like a plant "bending towards the desired place (it may not make it either)" - for the chance to be there at exactly the right time" for opportunity to be in our favour for success to happen? The answer will always continue to be...YES!!! ...JUST FLOWING WITH ...NATURAL LAWS!!!!

Mr Joseph Lamm...now this man's mind intrigues me, and am waiting excitedly for his book called, 'Bull Headed Saviour'. When I have read it ... I will be doing a blog about his book so keep an eye on my blogs. I luv his music also...my fave songs so far that I luv listening to is: I Want (You), 'I Believe Rough Mix' and 'Canyons With A Beauty'. I have put a few of his free songs onto cd and I have been playing them while I have been buzzing around in my car. I guess it makes me feel he is keeping me company. So I hope Joseph reads this, and smiles :)... Well he definitely has a fan in me for good...

This is what Joseph says and quote, "I don't see writing a song about my thoughts on God as being sacred and writing a song about love or the beauty of nature as being secular. I write songs. They might be good or bad songs, but that's more a reflection on me than on God. This idea that some functions in life are more "holy" than others is a misconception started long ago. Being accepted by the masses doesn't make a thing true."


Now I will just put in some info about him:

Joseph Lamm began writing at the age of 17, when his schoolmates encouraged him to become involved in the writing of a theatrical show being produced during his senior year. As his contribution grew from one small piece to over one third of the material used on stage, Lamm realized he had found an avenue for his creative expression. He took this idea a step further once arriving at Cedarville University (to study philosophy) and co-founded a troupe of players that would eventually go on to stage several well-received shows.

Lamm started contributing pieces to local and eventually nationally syndicated radio, but his wildly eclectic musical and literary influences, combined with his quest for a deeper spiritual understanding, led him into the themes now pervasive throughout his recordings and writings. The mystical religious imagery of William Blake and the beat generation sensibilities of Michael McClure find themselves merged with the emotion of impressionist painter Claude Monet, while the universal appeal of a Lennon/McCartney lyric dances with the surrealism of Yes composer Jon Anderson.

In 2003, Joseph Lamm began a collaboration with legendary beat poet, author & playwright Michael McClure on the work-in-progress Dig, a rock/electronica music project based on their shared passion for William Blake. While working mostly with poems taken from Blake's famous illuminated books Songs Of Innocence and Songs Of Experience, the project also uses passages from McClure's Rain Mirror as well as contributions written by Lamm. "Michael was enthusiastic about bringing Blake's songs to life and seeing his own work exist in another form," says Lamm. "I took a bit of time away but everything's in place. It will be exciting to hear."

McClure has continued writing and performing his poetry with former Doors' keyboardist Ray Manzarek and Lamm has finished the book Bull Headed Saviour, which was published this past December. His next album, Hot As Sun, Vol.1, is scheduled for release in August 2009.

WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD ... so they say!

The real world is not set in solid form neither can it be plotted out in black and white. The real world is how each individual perceives it to be... by personal experience from the results of how each individual reacts. For example if you were a fish that was thirsty in the big deep blue sea what would you do? Drink the salt water or drink none of it? With us humans; how we REACT to the happenings of the universe around us attracts: THE SAME: positive attracting positive and... negative attracting negative. Haven't you noticed that? So what is this term we use, welcome to the real world?...the real irony of it all; is that... the real world is in fact in our own mind and imagination! Think about it... is it not a case that the salt just needs to be taken out of water, if that is so, where is the real world; in the sea or the mind?

THE WALL TO CONTEND WITH before Success can happen!

1. Success means self-sacrifice.
2. Knowing what you want, (goal).
3. Becoming the best that you can, so you can achieve.
Remember:
Everything that you start you will meet up with THE WALL!
Everything has A WALL to be knocked down.
Walls are...the reason most people fail at what they start.

THE WALL makes people think they cannot succeed... and overcoming is another problem.
Priorities:
Write them down in order of importance... Is there anything you can knock out? Have goals, but don't try to do everything at once... prioritise.
Anthony Robbins (Getting The Edge) says:- "People don't do things because they think about the risks, instead of what they want. If you think about the risks you will move towards the risks. If you think of what you want you will move towards what you want."

With life; people, things and problems that need solving;
they are all a matter of prospective!

How many angles can you see? How many more angles may you yet need to discover?
Just remember the prospective-factor.
